Main Beach - Our main Clubhouse is a world class venue, with its very own beach over-looking the glimmering waters of the Gold Coast's Broadwater. Join us at one of Gold Coast’s most exclusive waterfront dining venue dining on fresh local seafood, overlooking the Clubs private 300-berth Marina.
Open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner.
Hollywell and Oxenford Lake facilities offer Adult & Youth Sailing programs for as young as 7 yrs of age. Hollywell Clubhouse open Wednesday - Sunday.
Dux anchorage, the perfect place to moor your boat, pitch a tent and sit back to unwind, watching the sun set.

Established in 1946, Southport Yacht Club is the Gold Coast’s award-winning premier sports club, and a recent recipient of the ‘Hall of Fame Award’ from Keno & Clubs Queensland Awards for Excellence for 3 consecutive years of achieving the ‘Best Sports Club Award’ along with the Chef of the Year and Club of the Year (non-gaming) 2021, Director of the year and Club of the year (non-gaming) 2023. We recently earned the Australian Sailing ‘Club of the Year’ Award for Queensland in 2025.
Home of Australia’s spectacular offshore sailing regatta, and fastest growing ocean race, the, the Club offers a wide range of restaurant, bars, function spaces, sailing programs, events and training across our four waterfront locations.
Our Main Beach Clubhouse is home to the only open-air waterfront north-facing restaurant & bar. Overlooking our stunning 300-berth Marina on the Gold Coast’s waters, this location is a perfect venue for your next conference, function or waterfront wedding.
Oxenford Watersports at Oxenford Lake in addition to being the location for our youth tackers and school sailing programs, also offers paddle-boarding, an onsite cafe and an outdoor/indoor function areas for hire, the perfect space for a casual meeting or a Club’s presentation event.
The Hollywell Clubhouse is home to our SYC sailing squadron along with a Bar & Bistro. It’s the ideal place to grab a cold drink and watch one of our many off-the-beach Sailing events.
Southport Yacht Club’s fourth location is the private Dux Anchorage located on the Gold Coast’s famous South Stradbroke Island. Our well cared for campgrounds are the ideal place for you to moor and relax with family and friends. Watch the sunset behind the beautiful Hinterland, while toasting marshmallows in the outdoor fire pit.
